STUDENTS’ ACHIEVEMENT IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE AS CORRELATE OF ACHIEVEMENT IN MATHEMATICS IN LANGTANG NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMANT OF PLATEAU STATE, NIGERIA Ajoro, M.D. and Mbwas, C.D. Department of Basic studies, Plateau State College of Agriculture, Garkawa, Plateau State, Nigeria ABSTRACT The research design was correlational survey carried out to investigate the correlation between senior secondary two (SS2) students achievement in English Language and their achievement in Mathematics in Langtang North Local Government area of Plateau State. The study made use of 398 students from 7 schools of the 17 schools using systematic sampling technique. Two research questions were asked and 2 null hypotheses were made. Literature was reviewed and achievement test in English Language and Mathematics were conducted.
