ABSTRACT The paper investigated the role of electrical activities in visual perception in human and animals. This review highlighted the Absorption of zero and one photon in visual perception, Measurement of visual acuity, Optical constraints on visual perception, Photochemistry of Vision and  colour vision, however Human ability to see is strictly dependent on the electrical signals  generated within the body. Among the recommendations, physics, is an umbrella of medicine and as such be made compulsory in all spheres of the medical practice.

In consequence, the present study was designed to examine the effectiveness of individualized system of instruction in facilitating achievement among thirty junior secondary two (JS II) mathematics Students in shendam area inspectorate division. A pre-test post-test control group quasi-experimental design was adopted for the study which made use of two schools that served as experimental and control groups respectively. ABSTRACT Microwave ovens are commonplace in households and are established there as devices for everyday use. Their primary function is the reheating of previously cooked or prepared meals. The relative combination of microwaves with other heating systems should enhance their potential for a complete cooking device that could replace conventional ovens. Unfortunately, in industry the distribution of microwave processes is still few. Nevertheless, successful microwave applications range over a great spectrum of all thermal food processes.

THE INFLUENCE OF TEACHING METHODS AND CLASS SIZE ON STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENT IN MATHEMATICS Ajoro, M. D., Mbwas, C.D and Pofwon, P. P. Department of Basic Studies Plateau State College of Agriculture Garkawa, Plateau State, Nigeria ABSTRACT The influence of teaching methods and class size on students’ achievement in Mathematics was the focus of this study. A researcher-made mathematics student questionnaire (MSQ) and Mathematics achievement test (MAT) were the instruments used in this study. The responses on the MSQ were used as a parameter to classify the subjects into the three factors investigated. A t-test statistical analysis on the student scores on MAT showed that students exposed to lecture method with students activities and students in small classes, achieved significantly (P< 0.05) better than those taught by
